ACOUSTIC NEUROMA
Acoustic Neuroma (also known as vestibular schwannoma) is a benign schwann cell
growth that arises on the 8th cranial nerve between the brain to the inner ear. Many
suffer visible/outward signs of disabilities, such as balance/walking issues, facial nerve
function, etc, but even more have "invisible" signs of disabilities such as hearing loss,
tinnitus and debilitating headaches. Additional information can be found at:

The Arc of East Middlesex believes individuals with developmental disabilities can
work and live on their own. Community work provides a valuable opportunity to build
new relationships and opportunities to live more independently. Friends, community
